Gyaan Lyon is a Franco-Indian Tenor and Songwriter with Congenital Right Spastic Hemiplegia, a form of Cerebral Palsy. He is a survivor. Born with significant  damage to the left hemisphere of his brain (the part that controls language and communication), Gyaan’s parents were told he might never speak. Remarkably, he now speaks three languages fluently—French, English and German—and has lived and studied in France, the United Kingdom and Switzerland before moving a few years ago to Austria. From his first treatment at the age of 10 in France, the Tomatis Method has played a significant role in his life and to this day is still a go-to technique for him on his vocal journey. In his spare time, Gyaan is The Voice Detective and presents a monthly Vodcast where he interviews experts about the voice and bel canto on his adjacent website VOICEDETECTIVE.COM.
